The Grimm Raiders is an event with both personal and alliance rewards. Winning this event can be extremely beneficial especially for free and light spenders as you can use the gems for purchasing skill books, equipment stones, basically anything that will help you become stronger in any player category you wish to excel in eg. fighter, farmer. Here are some tips to help you reach the top ten leaderboard in the Grimm Raiders!
The Raiders
There are 10 difficulty levels of raiders with 16 waves each and each wave increasing in the number of raiders. The higher the difficulty, the more points you will earn. As you pass each level earning “super” alliance rewards the next one will unlock. Make sure the alliance passes so you can keep up with the rest of your kingdom!
Being Prepared
Preparedness is a huge factor here. Have an assigned time so everybody will know exactly when the raiders will be released. The last thing we want is castles burning because half the alliance is farming with no troops inside. Activate attack and defence boosts, assign battle heroes to your wall, switch to your battle skill set and make sure VIP bonus is on. If you or a teammate is in need of assistance then post coordinates in alliance chat and ask for reinforcement help. Make sure there are no leaks in the ship!
Reinforcing
The points you earn will depend on how many raiders you kill. Reinforcing smaller players will not only help the alliance pass but also help you earn more personal points. The raiders you kill while inside that castle will be credited to YOUR personal score so work on your dispatch size and marches.
Putting You Over the Top
Here is where we make money. While reinforcing is a big factor in accumulating points there is a bigger picture than to just sending troops anywhere. If your alliance has the room you should add personal castles to reinforce by yourself. Do some military research with these and max out the merlons/arrow slits category. Make sure these castles are empty of troops and traps because anything that kills a raider will take away points from you and we want ALL the points. Do NOT make arrow towers in these castles. Always check each wave’s score to see if they are about the same across the board, and if there is a noticeable decrease in points then someone has probably jumped into your reinforced castle and is also killing raiders, or the troops have come back early. Kick them all out 😁
Making personal points is great but you will only have continued success in this if your team is successful in unlocking all the levels of Grimm Raiders. I hope this guide helps all alliances and YOU to the number one spot in the event.
