Hey everyone, today I will talk about the shield of the realm building, and how to obtain military codex.
First of all, let me give you an introduction to the shield of the realm building, this building is unlocked when your castle level reaches L1 ( legendary castle level 1), inside the building there are 5 conclaves, one for infantry, one for cavalry, one for siege machines, one for archers, and one for all troop types, inside the conclaves there is a section for two troop types from the main 4, for example infantry conclave has a section for shieldmen and a section for spearmen, the conclave which gives attributes to all troop types also includes increase to dispatch and rally size.
1-When you click on each conclave you will find slots in which you can assign heroes, the attributes received by assigning a hero depends on the level of the conclave, and the prestige of the hero that you assigned.
2- the shield of the realm building itself is quite simple, the hard part is earning the military codices of which you use to upgrade the conclaves, so let’s get right to it.
3- exchange, if you click on the tavern building inside your castle, click on exchange, and then click on codex exchange, you will find a section where you can exchange resources or gems for Codices, if you buy 12 codices with gems it will cost you 4050 gems which is cheaper than the price in the store, but if you go above 12 it will cost you more than the price in the store, or you could just buy them with resources.
4- store, from the UI (user interface) click on bag, then click on store at the top right section of your screen, and then click on others, you can buy 50 codices every day, now if you’re seriously investing into this, then wait for the gem consumption event and do it if you want to.
5- The wheel of fortune, you can find this event in the benefits center from time to time, you get 1 free chance to spin every day and the event lasts for 3 days, so cross your fingers and hope to get lucky 🤣
6- fast castle development event, this is a great event generally speaking as you could obtain optional gold hero chests III, and you can also get military codex through this event, by either using speedups or by increasing your building power, there is an efficient way to do this event of which I will cover in another guide.
