Hello all lords and ladies. Today, I will be going through all the basics on how to collect resources in the most effective ways. Whether you are collecting for an event, for an upgrade or technology, or just to keep your troops busy, resource collection is a big part of the game. I’ve seen a lot of people struggling during events that require collecting resources for points so I’d like to give everyone some advice and tips based on my own personal experiences while playing. I have broken down my guide into 3 different parts; Basic, Advanced, and Ultimate. Today you will be learning the basics.
Learn your Development Heroes:
Development heroes will play a big part during collection. Below are all of the Development heroes we have so far.
Hero Development points and Buffs:
The way the game works, heroes with a high amount of Development points will be primarily used to collect resources. The higher the amount of Development points a hero has, the faster they will collect. Here is an example of the best Orange quality hero, Braith, who has the most Development points and fastest collection rate when fully Upgraded and Strengthened.
When you check out a development heroes Buffs, it will show you exactly how fast they will be able to collect resources based on the amount of Development points they have.
Lord Skill Tree and Active Skills:
Typically everyone should have 3 Lord Skill Presets; one for Battle, one for Development, and One for Assist. Of course we are talking about Development so below is the Development Skill Tree.
Within this Skill Tree, you’ll find many upgrades that you will be able to unlock while leveling up your Lord Level to obtain more Skill Points to unlock more upgrades. The more Skill Points you have, the further down the Skill Tree you can go. Not all upgrades are required to move down the Tree, you’ll get to the point where the Tree branches off giving you options whether to go down the left, down the right, or straight down the middle. These paths vary between having to choose between faster Lumber Collection and Lumber Yield, faster Grain Collection and Grain Yield, faster Iron Collection and Iron Yield, and faster Silver Collection and Yield. Whatever decision you make, you will be required to choose at least one downward direction to go in order to be able to go further down the Tree unlocking more Skills. Below are my 3 recommended Skills to Max out as soon as possible.
Quick Collect Active Skill:
Once you unlock the Quick Collect Active Skill, you will be able to use it at any time by clicking on the Lord Skill Book found on the bottom right of your screen whether you are inside your castle or outside in the Kingdom map.
You can choose when to use the Skill at any time which will make all your dispatched troops collecting resources (except for gems) 100% faster and only lasts for 1 hour but it will have a 24 hour cool down period before you will be able to use it again.
Alliance or Coalition Territory:
When collecting resources it is always wise to collect on the resource tiles that are currently inside of your Territory. You will collect the tile faster inside the Territory rather than outside.
Harvest Day
Harvest Day event can be found in the Event Center Take advantage during Harvest Day to not only level up you Lord Level faster, but to also collect resources faster for 24 hours.
City Bonus Resource Spell Buff:
City Bonus Buffs can be found on the bottom right of the screen right above the Lord Skill Book which can be accessed at any time inside your castle or outside in the Kingdom map.
Resource Spells can be used at any time and can be used again either after the timer expires, or even before it expires except the timer will be reset and will not add more time to the buff.
