Today one of our wonderful players, Lady Ann brings us a special guide about the new monster killing event. So it’s time for us to butt out and let Lady Ann do the talking!
Did you catch the new event? This event is a team effort. It is also an individual effort. How do you play? What do you need? How do you score more points?
We played through 6 of the 10 rounds. I did not hit constantly but I managed to get 4,900,000,000 points for 24th place. I won a second Ice castle.
There are several good prizes. The more times you hit the monsters the more Dreadful Lord essence you receive. You can trade the essence for Wonerland Castles and various other items. Check out the DREADLORD Store.
You will need 10 teleports and a lot of stamina. If you are a faithful donated to the alliance, buy some monster juice a.k.a. stamina in the alliance store.
How to play.
The best way to score is to teleport to the location. As you see in the picture, you will need to make your screen as large as possible. This will allow you to see the monster and to attack. Presets are key in this event. Cavalry runs fast. The system will randomly pick one type of troops to get extra damage bonus. In my case Archers get an extra 65% more damage but drag their bows like an anchor when they run. I ran three sets of archers and three sets of cavalry. Hero’s do not have much effect on the damage.
You will need all your friends to help. So when your arrive at the next location start clearing monsters so others can land. You can find the new monster like you find a lost city.
The new higher level monster appears immediately after the prior dies. He appears in the form of an egg. That egg hatches in five minutes. You will then again jointly kill the monster.
There are three type of reward you will win. The picture on the left. You receive a variation of this reward every time you hit the monster. The second reward is the group reward for killing the monster. The third reward is your ranking reward. The picture on the right. Lastly you may exchange you Dreadlord essence in the Dreadlord store. This is featured in the top right corner on the open event page.
Take a ways. The monsters are difficult to conquer. Make sure you get the whole kingdom involved. You use a lot of healing but the prizes balance out. I would like to be able to exchange more teleports. I would like an option to purchase medals. It was fun. So go get you a monster juice smoothie and grab your bestie and kill away.
